Busy and noisy-even on a Monday night.
But we had booked and service was friendly and generally efficient.
They moved us to a quieter table at the back and made room for an extra person joining for drinks
Very good tapas- beautiful battered aubergine/chorizo/patatas bravas
Good manchego cheese and Pedro Ximinez.

Living in the West Midlands it is difficult to sample such places as the majority of the restaurants there are Indian. Having had a conversation over the weekend about how much we missed tapas we decided to make it a mission whilst visiting Bristol this week. We sought advice from TripAdvisor and am not disappointed at all.
The restaurant is small and intimate, fellow diners are literally sat next to you. The music and ambience is brilliant and so easy to relax after a tough day. Our waitress Ophelia was a delight, and quite frankly a perfect host. She explained the daily specials and nothing was too much trouble.
The olives and fresh bread was lovely so was the daily special of baked hake in a tomato and garlic sauce. The fried chorizo and tortilla was lovely. The best thing of all (and the cheapest) was deep fried aubergine and molasses!! Delicious.
If you need a Mediterranean fix, Bravas is the perfect answer.

One of my favourites restaurants ever.
It's the atmosphere, it's the food, it's the wine, it's the staff....EVERYTHING!
One of those places that make you wish you lived in that town. Truly.
We decided to sit on the bar (beautiful wooden bar btw) and we asked for, I think it was, 8 tapas and after that we could not stop. We had to have a few more.
My partner drank Estrella Galicia and I was matching the food with different wines. Donkeyjote wine ( Idk if I spelled it properly) it's a 10/10.

Love this place so much that we are prepared to travel from South Wales to Bristol with the soul purpose of dining there. Quite a small venue but all the better 'cos it add to its atmosphere but the star of the show, as it should be, is definitely the food. Just keep it coming. Every dish is as good but as different as the last. We had hake at our last visit. The menu is authentic and varies each visit rather than being the same. The service is good with just the right amount of friendly, informativity. Take a punt you won't regret it
