I've visited many times and absolutely love this restaurant. The family that owns it are lovely and very welcoming-in particular the lady always seems to remember us. I love the glamorous decor and the pictures of the famous people that have visited-usually from appearing at the theatre.
The menu offers different dishes from Nepal along side the usual Indian dishes we are all used to.
My partner and I always go for the 'Mo Mo' a type of spicy meat dumpling-so delicious. The food here always tastes fresh and light-not heavy or greasy. Everything I have eaten here has been brilliant. Try the Nepalese dishes for something different or stick to your usual-you won't be disappointed. Oh, and their house lager is pretty good too!

We tried this restaurant whilst in Bristol for the weekend. Having never tried Nepalese food we thought this would be an interesting experience and it certainly was. The setting was lovely, modern with excellent service. We tried both the Nepalese beers and can highly recommend the Gurkha beer. There are options of Nepalese food or Indian food. We chose from the Nepalese menu and ordered dumplings (Mo Mo) and chicken and lamb skewers (Rashmi) for a started followed by Chicken Kritipur and Sea Bass Palu with rice and naan. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked, the starter came with a lovely salad garnish with an interesting dressing. We had a really enjoyable meal, we don't enjoy going for a curry and this was far from that. Much lighter and more interesting. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

We were looking for a restaurant for a pre-theatre meal. A friend at work suggested this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We deliberately chose the Nepalese main courses although there are also the more traditional "Indian" curries that you would epect to find on a menu. Service was very good but we did not feel rushed. The food was delicious - the flavours of the dishes were lovely and we would defintiely recommend a visit. We will certainly be going back next time we are in Bristol.
