Having just spent a very nice weekend in Chester I only have good things to say about this apartment.
It is extremely well decorated and the layout gives both couples all the privacy they need as the 2 bedrooms are at opposite ends of the building.Every little thing seemed to have been thought of and made for a very relaxing stay.
As for location it doesn't get any better than this. You walk out of the gate and you are on Watergate which is probably the main street in the city centre with lots of shops and pubs. The car park is a 2 minute walk away and a free parking pass is supplied with your booking.
We where met on arrival by the very friendly and helpful Katie who took us to the apartment and showed us around before then showing us to the free parking.
All in all a great weekend made better by this little gem of an apartment. We are already looking at stopping again later in the year.
Watergate Nook is everything you would expect from the pictures. A high quality and well equipped cottage within the city walls. Car park is less than 3 mins walk but you won't need your car as the city is easily accessible on foot. Great beds, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, excellent wifi. Apartment has plenty of space and enough privacy for 4 adults. Flowers, wine & cake waiting for us and milk in the fridge - very welcoming!
There is a downside. The apartment is next to a pub with a sometimes noisy beer garden. We stayed Friday (very noisy), Saturday (quite noisy) and Sunday (very quiet) nights. One bedroom is more exposed than the other. I don't think many central locations would be truly quiet and it didn't bother us or interrupt our sleep (we were 2 adults and 1 child). However I would avoid on weekends if you are sensitive to noise.
