“Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cheshire!”
Reviewed 25 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We have recently returned from another lovely week at Inglenook Cottage (our third visit, and the first since the addition of a new extension). I have to say it was so lovely to return. The cottage is so cosy and beautiful, with everything you need for a relaxed stay with children (fully equiped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine, books for the children, amazing garden that goes on and on). Since our last stay the lovely owners Chris and Jenny have added a brilliant extension which forms a large dining/play room and a third bedroom and bathroom, which made entertaining the kids on rainy days, and the morning rush, much easier now that we are a family of 4. Chris and Jenny are so welcoming and live just next door so you always know they are there if you need anything or just for a friendly chat. We really wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cheshire, and look forward to returning next summer!

“Great Location!”
Reviewed 23 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

A comfortable and cosy cottage very well situated for exploring the local area and the local community shop was excellent! Option of the train from Mouldsworth to Chester and Liverpool was an added bonus. Cottage is mostly well equipped although a bath mat would have been good for the shower room and there were insufficient dishwasher tablets and washing machine powder. Cleaning could have been more thorough.
Some of the information leaflets and details of the local pubs needs updating (some mentioned in the house info book have closed down!).
We enjoyed sitting in the garden especially after the lawn was mown!

“Lovely cottage well located for Chester and North Wales”
Reviewed 16 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Situated in a quiet village close to the medieval city of Chester, this updated terraced cottage lacks for nothing in amenities. Parking is right outside, the kitchen is to die for, and there's a modern extension housing a large, well-lit, dining area. Patio and pretty garden to the rear, with a grassed area ideal for children to play. After a week here we didn't want to leave. If, in the future, we need accommodation near Chester this cottage would be top of our list. Thanks to Jenny and Chris, the owners, who did everything to make us welcome.

“Perfect!”
Reviewed 24 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

A beautiful cottage full of character with everything you need for a short or long term stay.
Log fire, oak beams, sandstone walls and very lovingly renovated adding some lovely new rooms.
The hosts are excellent and extremely accomodating, nothing is too much trouble, very welcoming and friendly.
The village of Ashton Heyes is a gem, quiet and quaint with a village shop/post office, handy for trips to Chester.
Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when staying in Cheshire.

“Home from home”
Reviewed 1 December 2015 for a stay in November 2015

Stayed at Inglenook Cottage from Nov 26-29. This is the perfect home from home for exploring Chester and the surrounding area. A delightful cottage in a delightful quiet setting approximately 8miles from Chester. The cottage has all you need for a short break or longer stay with well equipped kitchen, and well presented bathroom. Although we did not get chance to use it because of the time of year, the cottage has a very spacious garden which looks a nice relaxing space for a summer evening.
