“A wonderful place to visit for a great taste of England”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 December 2010

Visited Chester at the beginning of December. We were so disappointed that the Cathedral was closed on the day we visited but we walked the city walls and that was a great experience. The night before we went up in the big wheel and enjoyed the market stalls. The shops are great in Chester and there are a great number of old buildings which made the visit special.

Young or old this wonderful city is the perfect place to spend a happy few days - or longer! It is a sheer delight and its range of places to stay in, eat in and visit is staggering. A magical experience. Geordie

“Chester a really good visit along with the Gastro Deli for an amazing lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2010

Visited Chester on a day trip and had a really good time. The history, shops and atmosphere was good. A walk down by the river and the jazz band playing excellent.
I would heartily recommend the Gastro Deli in Commonhall Street for fantastic food - eat in or takeaway. Their Deli Board was amazing.
A really good time, loads to see and do.

“Chester Races”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 July 2010

Some friends and I had a day at chester races on saturday 10th July 2010, i had heard many comments off colleagues and clients that it is the place to go.

WELL, o my, WHAT A FANTASTIC PLACE....although it appears to be a small racecourse. We all found it to be a very lovely place to spend our day. loads of place to eat, very friendly staff with race course staff on every corner all you have to do is ask and they go all the way.

landscaped and very well looked after, very clean and plenty of people to ask for help.

My wife is disabled and because the disabled toilet had someone already in it.......In a tis we asked a young lady collecting glasses and she took us round to another toilet and waited to guild us back to our friends. Now that is customer service at last a place we are considered.

We found the whole course to be very clean including the toilet we had to visit a number of times.

We have been to many racecourse including aintree an chester races are first class.

Thank you chester races...please please keep up the good work.

A fan
