Large expanse of sandy beach. Nice to have an evening walk along the beach. Lots of dogs. Steep walk down but can take it steadily on the ramp. Great views out to sea. Looks like there are deckchairs etc to hire during the day.

Went to this beach during a Newquay holiday and was very impressed at how clean it was. The water is crystal clear. Near the rocks, Pools form and you can see the bottom. In the summer you could bath in these pools (too cold for october lol)

A lovely sight in the morning when you open your Hotel curtains, Watch the man writing the menu in the sand for his Café on the beach only to see it vanish late in the day as the tide returns,
The surfers congregate in droves waiting for the big rollers to appear whilst the many sea birds twist and turn overhead, an enchanted place indeed.

Dropped in for lunch at The Colonial restaurant on Tolcarne Beac. Used to love Breakers but the Colonial is just as good. The beach is wonderful - lovely and clean. Great food and facilities. Smart comfortable seating inside and out. There's been a lot of money spent - and it shows!
