Description: The Treguth Inn is located in the peaceful village of Holywell, by the stunning beach of Holywell Bay, just five miles west of Newquay. Surrounded by gorgeous countryside, with the best of the Cornish coast, it is the perfect place to wine and dine, meet up with friends and have a drink or two, or share a bar snack with some fine wines and ales.

Attended with husband and son for dinner. Staff were very friendly and pub setting beautiful. Unfortunately the food didn’t match. Will not be returning.

3rd time of visiting during a weeks stay. Food once again excellent had the special Hake in clotted cream sauce and potatoes sublime, nachos to die for and the lamb tagine, generous portion would feed 2!. Staff brilliant very attentive. Cannot wait to come back next year.

This is a really friendly pub. The staff and locals are welcoming. It is exceptionally dog friendly which is not ideal if you don’t like dogs or prefer not to eat with dogs around. The clientele seemed very pro dog. The food is adequate pub food perhaps a little over priced in comparison with other pbs where I’ve eaten in the area but certainly fills a gap after a day on the beach. I’ll certainly go back to enjoy a few pints of the well kept beer and will probably eat there again.

Looking for a hound friendly pub for an evening meal we found the Treguth Inn. An excellent discovery, such a friendly dog filled comfortable bar. The staff and locals were very welcoming and the food which is home cooked was superb and plentiful, Definitely recommended.
