Stayed for 4 nights with our 2 girls 2 and 14 we arrived late and the very nice security guard got us what we needed and showed us to our caravan. Our beds were made and the hearing was on there was a Hoover iron etc provided ( its these small things that make the difference we also stayed in another park not far away and were very disappointed with the small things ) the staff throughout our stay were very warm and welcoming. Ate in the restaurant and it was nice. Very clean lovely caravan will visit again.

we visited this site 4 years ago and couldnt fault it staff were brilliant caravan was spotless ,,so this year we decided to go again thinking it would be the same , we travelled 350 miles on the monday arrived at 4pm got the keys to the caravan then the nightmare began the caravan was filthy mattresses had no mattress protecters on and was stained with all sorts of discusting stains the bathroom was flooded because the shower was leaking the kitchen was thick grease didnt look like it had ever been cleaned the toaster had mouldy bread in the seating in the room was all stained the floor in the kitchen had a whole under the lino over all discusting, went to reception to complain and was told it would be 80 pound if we wanted to move i wasnt pating that as it wasnt our fault the caravan was a dirty whole, the staff need retraining on how to deal with customer complaints as they are rude especially the so called security manager wouldnt recommend to any one,,

Just returned from a 4 night break and felt compelled to write a review. Steve and Matt, the lifeguards were amazing, such a lovely bunch of guys who worked endlessly to create a fantastic atmosphere around the pool. Both are a real credit to the company.

We booked this through a newspaper offer and from our experience, the caravan quality can be a bit of a lottery. We really lucked out this time, our caravan was large, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The park was good, our daughters (10 & 8) had a lot of fun playing with other kids on the park around the site and in the swimming pool. The entertainment was pretty good and the clubhouse and shop were fine for our needs. The bar is a bit pricey but no worse than a city centre pub. The food we had at lunchtime was not brilliant but the breakfast was superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful, everything seemed to be run well.
I left an external hard-drive in the caravan after our stay and the staff were superb in retrieving it and posting it back to us, they were very efficient and kept me informed at every stage.
Newquay town is a bit tatty but there are all the shops you need and we had a nice day at the aquarium. We had no trouble finding things to do in the area though as North Cornwall is lovely with superb beaches.
Would thoroughly recommend this park for families.

Have just returned from a midweek break with my partner and young baby, admittedly this was a sun holiday and we didn’t know what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation.

We stayed in the Orchards and the caravan was of a good standard, clean and well kept, plenty of space and everything we needed for the week.

Staff were generally friendly and helpful.

The one downside, on our first day, we decided to have lunch at the Tregenna restaurant - if I could rate this separately a 1 star would be appropriate. We expected cheap and cheerful, what we got was overpriced and miserable.

We ordered the beef baguette, sausage baguette and a childs cheese sandwich. As you’ll see they have an open pass where food is being made, I sat and watched the 2 main meals left under the hot lamp for nearly 10 minutes whilst he then started making my daughters sandwich. He then decided to put her cheese (cold!) sandwich under the hot lamp and that was left for a further 4-5 mins til it was out to our table.

My partners sausages were inedible - not sure if deep friend or just cremated, my daughters sandwich was dry and hard and even she didn’t eat it, probably didn’t help didn’t even bother to put any butter on the bread either and my partners dish was missing accompaniments. Just poor, lacklustre effort. Restaurant definitely needs an overhaul

Overall, a pleasant stay at the park itself and fantastic location only 5-10 min drive to Fistral beach and beautiful locations
