To begin with the basics: the bed was very comfortable and the shower and bathroom were excellent. Next the nice-to-haves: the kitchen was extremely well-equipped (top marks for excellent kitchen knives), the living area was spacious and either we had quiet neighbours, or the sound-proofing was good. Then on to the luxuries: wonderful views over Fistral Bay from the main bedroom and sunny terrace, and the heated outdoor pool was a big hit with our children. The location could not have been better for us, as it had walking access to Crantock Beach via the Gannel Estuary. The accommodation owners were friendly, helpful and attentive (called in to see if we were OK on the first morning and upon hearing that our children woke up early because of the light streaming into the bedroom, immediately ordered a blackout blind and delivered it the very next day).
Overall, it was great to find a beautifully decorated, well appointed holiday apartment which was equipped with enough to ensure that we really felt comfortable and 'at home' during our stay. It's so nice that the owners were not petty, and we didn't have to worry about buying the basics like salt and pepper, or washing-up liquid, the presence of a washing machine meant we could do some laundry during the holiday and didn't have to return home with a suitcase full of dirty clothes.
If I had to put a negative, it was a little difficult to find in the fog at midnight!
The next time we stay in Cornwall, this will be the first place we look at for availability. Thank you for making our holiday such a great one.

We have just come back after a week in this fabulous apartment in Newquay. The apartment is very nice with a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. The living room with direct access to the terrace with the view to die for over Fistal beach was really nice. The bathroom was new and bright with very nice tile flooring. Everything was done to a high standard. The master bedroom with the view had a very comfortable double bed. The other bedroom with 2 beds was perhaps a little crowded if you where 4 persons in the apartment both since we where just 2 it was fine. We just used it for storing.
The only thing we lacked was the evening sun on the terrace with the view.
We loved this little place in Newquay. Well situated just above Fistral beach and within easy reach of great walks to Fistral and Crantock beaches, with beautiful views out over the beach and towards the Headland Hotel this was a great hub for walks and to explore Cornwall. It was bright and airy, beautifully decorated and very clean and tidy. The owner had thought of everything you could possibly ever need. Rick Stein's Casual Fish & Chip/Indian Take Away was in easy reach for low key relaxed dinners on the beach and Lewinnick Lodge was just a stroll away and great for breakfasts and drinks in the terrace.
The sunsets from the balcony were spectacular. Had it been warm enough the swimming pool just across the complex would have been a brilliant extra bonus too!
