Had takeaway fish & chips from here last week.
Freshly cooked, beautiful big thick pieces of fish, batter was lovely and crispy, staff nice and friendly. Prices good and help yourself to mayo/sauces all laid out on the counter.
Was so good we returned a few days later.

We passed this fish & chip shop on our way back to town from the ferry terminal and decided to treat ourselves to a 'sit in' meal. Having seen the queue outside when passing on a previous evening we thought the locals would not be wasting their time if the product wasn't good.

We weren't disappointed, the fish was fresh and tasty, the batter wasn't too thick and the chips were chunky and not too greasy. All in all very satisfying.

It isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for and I would recommend anyone to try this place for their fix of fish and chips.....

We were passing Frasers and decided to give them a try. Our first question "do you do gluten free?" a very confident "yes" was returned. So in we went and found a table.
We staff were very friendly and quickly brought the menus and ordered drinks.
We are the "awkward ones", myself being veggie and my wife Gluten intolerant. So we were very reassured to see the Coeliac Society logo on the menu, but even better were the staff and cook, who were aware of the issues and took great care taking and preparing our order.
The wife had fish and chips, I had battered vegetarian sausage, chips and mushy peas. It's easily been 25 years since I've had a battered sausage in a chippy, and it was a super treat! The kids had fish bites and chicken nuggets, server in a bucket, which they got to keep. They would have eaten at Frasers every day given the choice.
The good was super, untouchable at the price, the wife said it was the best battered fish and chips she had in years, including before she stopped eating gluten. High praise indeed!

Next time we are in Penzance, Frasers will be on our list!
Keep up the great work!!

Don't usually like to complain but i felt totally ripped off. We had to wait along time for the fish but didn't mind as i thought it would be fresh. When i unwrapped my fish, chips and peas, the batter on the fish was dark brown, well over cooked and it was difficult to find any fish inside, the chips and peas were ok. so approx £7.50 for some chips and peas as i couldn't eat the fish. Will never go there again!!!

Used to come here a lot before it had the revamp. The chips always used to be cooked whilst you waited. Visited for the first time after the refit and the prices have shot up and the quality has taken a nose dive. The order was incorrectly taken too.We won't be visiting again.
