We have just got back from Cornwall, having stayed at Carnaquidden Barn ,a beautiful barn conversion a fifteen minute drive from beach's on the south coast or secluded coves on the north coast, and only 30 minutes to sennen cove on the west coast. Our party included Me, my wife , our three children (ages 4,5 and 8) and my mother.
On arrival we had a lovely food hamper waiting for us , the property was very clean and beautifully presented.
The accommodation has three bedrooms (one huge double with en-suit ,one other pretty double and a twin which is perfect for children. Downstairs there is a very comfortable living room with two double settees and a wood burning fire , which we fount very nice after a day exploring, There is ample dvds both for children and adults, there was also a good selection of board games.
The kitchen was excellent and had every utensil you need, even four sets of plastic kids plates, bowls and cups perfect for young children.
There were two body boards and a number of wet suits provided ,which saved us taking ours. Outside there is a secure garden with a great bbq and a natural stream ,which can be gated off, there is also ample secure parking. We went in August so the location of the barn was an added bonus being hidden away it was so quiet that you could easily forget you are in one of the most popular UK holiday destinations. Will definitely be going back soon.
I haven't put any photos of the cottage as the owners photos are as good as I could do.
