We have been coming to st ives for several years and only just found this restaurant. The atmosphere was very warm and relaxed, food amazing and service great. Will go back to keep trying fresh Cornish food.

This place left a bad taste in the mouth both figuratively and literally. Ordered the duck spring roll starter which was an oversized luke warm mass of under seasoned fatty duck the side salad and sauce wasn't too bad however.

We both ordered the Serloin steak, which wasn't a great piece of steak, this should've had a side of triple cooked chips which we're so soggy they wouldn't have done passed for once cooked chips. We also had sides of garlic mushrooms and onion rings both of which were amateurish, flavourless and greasy

We dropped by on Sunday and were pleased they had room for us. The menu looked appetising but we both opted for their Sunday roast and we weren’t disappointed. The beef was very tender, the cauliflower cheese very creamy and the red cabbage was very good. Their gravy was so tasty we asked for more and they brought out a large jug for us. Excellent value for money in beautiful surroundings.

Treated ourselves to lunch at the Loft with friends.
Exactly what we wanted. Tasty, generous and more-ish.
Young staff friendly and polite. Pleasant ambience, lovely decor.
Not our first time and won’t be our last.
Thank you, All!
