The property is all about location and views. We found the property fairly basic but comfortable. If you have young kids be aware the oven door is extremely hot and at low level and it springs back when you open it! The drying part of the washing machine doesn't work but an air dryer is provided. Parking is on a steep slope and access is a bit hairy but that didn't cause a problem. Access to front door is round the back of the building so if you have a lot of stuff like us then you will take a while to unload the car. kitchen table is a bit dodgy (lean on it too heavily and it falls sideways).
The Internet in the flat ran at plus 10MB/s if that is important to you. We brought our Apple TV with us and it worked without issue. A real bonus. Good Quality TV in the premises as well.
If you want to play tennis contact St Ives tennis club and for £80 they will give you an out of county membership for as much tennis as you want or £10 per hour without membership.
The outside space (veranda) of the property has seating, excellent views and secure for children to mess around.
The beach is top quality and only 2 minutes walk down the hill. St Ives town centre is about 10 minutes walk and the station is also 2 minutes away.
We really enjoyed our stay in St Ives and would recommend this property.
This is a lovely apartment with beautiful views but one thing omitted from the apartment description is the access to your parking space (which is just outside the apartment). After you turn right off the main road you are immediately met by a very steep one track road (which is not a one way road bizarrely) which once committed is very difficult to back out of. This may not be unusual for St Ives or a problem for a confident driver but I feel drivers should be warned so as not to be shocked as we were (we met a car coming the other way). Once at the bottom of the hill (about 150yds) you then turn left across the narrow road alongside the beach then left again and up a very steep hill to your parking space which is also on a steep incline. I am quite a confident driver and having done this once and found the alternative way out (another very narrow road along beach with a squeeze between cottages and up another steep hill) I found it not to be a problem. We had a fab holiday in a lovely apartment. Other holiday makers at apartments nearby felt the same and most left there cars parked until the end of their holiday. Saying that, if it's not going to stress you out too much then it's well worth it.

Great time here thanks Christine lovely ambience and so relaxing. Proximity to train very useful. So close to sea and great Porthminster Cafe with super food. Also Black Rock Restaurant fabulous. Just a great place to stay and do see The Tate and Barbara Hepworth and take the trip to Port Isaac and Padstow. Thanks so much .
This property is a home from home, comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. Everything you need is provided: music, books, television. The situation is ideal with amazing views from the lounge, bedroom and balcony. I loved breakfast out there watching the town and beach come alive, and evenings with a glass of wine, listening to the sea.
The short walk into the town and harbour is lovely.
Having a parking space is fantastic.
I can't wait to go back. I love this place.
