A huge beach that has clear waters and lovely sand. Well kept and recommended with children. No dogs was also great.

We stayed at the st Ives holiday park which backs directly onto this beach, so we took advantage of it every chance we could.

There are acres of clean sandy beach and it doesn't appear to be on the general radar yet so no where near as busy as you'd expect. Surf is great if you want to body board, again unexpected bonus.

The only downsides were lack of close toilets (cafes nearby, but have to hike up the dunes); and the aforementioned dunes, which are a bit of a killer if you are unfit/have mobility issues (worth persevering if you can though!)

Great beach for relaxing and body boards/surfing. Two good food servic points with toilets. Not many other facilities but if you go here you know that's the case.

Visited here twice during our recent trip to Cornwall. The parking is not too far from beach and there is a cafe there, but you need to get there early for space.
We preferred the south side of the beach (going left after going down the stairs) as you had the cliffs behind which gave a bit of shelter and the huge rock pools were a lot of fun for the kids.

Having holidayed here for the last couple of years we just love this place and its fantastic beach. There's the odd cafe and surf clubs along the beach plus car parks.
