My Mum and I ate a delicious dinner in Cellar Bistro one evening on a short break in St Ives. We rang ahead to secure a table on the night and because it was just the two of us they were able to accommodate us. If you are a large party I'd recommend booking in advance as they are popular. Having indulged quite a bit earlier in the day, we limited ourselves to just a main course and a glass of wine. 🍷 We ordered the chicken supreme and the duck, both were cooked to perfection! We were informed when ordering that there would be a wait, but it was so worth it! All staff were friendly and efficient. We had a really enjoyable and relaxing evening. 😃

We were looking for somewhere that wasn't burger and chips or fried food like the majority of bars/restaurants! Came across this little place! Fabulous home cooked food, the herb crusted hake and seafood platter are to die for. The presentation was brilliant. Staff where lovely and the service great. They also had some drinks specials, we had a blackberry gin!

Bought my mum and dad a voucher for them to try as I know they will love it as much as we did! Thank you!! Xx

Had booked way ahead to ensure a table at 18:00. The place was full by 18:30. Nice welcome. Friendly staff. Had dishes from the early birds (18:00/19:00) menu as the choice suited us there. À la carte is reasonably priced. Tasty goat cheese on rocket and beetroot (no bread was brought with it...strange for a cheese based dish). The macquerel mousse was nice too, but the two small pieces of toasted baguette weren't enough. We asked for some more bread and got three slices of untoasted bread (see later). The baked hake was delicious, well cooked and of large portion. It was served with good roasted potatoes but the overall dish was lukewarm...All in all a nice and really tasty dinner and a pleasant evening. Small details to be fixed...bread with starters (we were charged £2.95 for bread & butter...never saw the butter with the 3 slices) & main course temperature. Would go back.

Booked this for our anniversary which was on a Tuesday. I called on Sunday but they're closed Sunday/Monday. Luckily, I was called promptly on the Tuesday so get booked in for that night.

On arrival, we were greeted by warm, friendly staff and a lovely restaurant.
To start, we shared the seafood platter. This was delicious and plentiful.

We both then went for surf and turf (again from the specials). The quality of the food we received was outstanding and the steaks were cooked exactly as requested (rare & medium-rare).

Our whole time there could not be faulted!! I would certainly return without hesitation.
