Stayed here 2 nights on business I stayed in room 20 very large comfy bed room a little bit dated, small shower cubicle for the larger person but quite functional had a good nights sleep very quiet, about 15 minutes walk into the town adequate parking in hotel grounds, overall a good breakfast and stay I would recommend and certainly use again hope this is helpful

The access to the coastal path is really just around the corner. Easy access to Rocky Valley and Tintagel castle. The town centre is a 10 minute walk with lots of restaurants and pubs. The free car park is convenient. The hotel is a bit outdated. The bathrooms are small. But good value for money. The Sunday carvery is tasty healthy food. Don't miss it!

The staff and owners were friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. The hotel was well situated for exploring the area, although it has seen better days and is in need of a refurb, it's a little tired looking.
We had a room that sleeps 3, one double and a twin bed, it was a bit tight, but we made it work, as we were mainly only there to sleep and shower.
Breakfast was a buffet style hot breakfast, along with fresh fruits, cereals and yogurt. The perfect way to start to the day.
WiFi was spotty in our room, but it worked fine in the common areas.
They do have a very large deer hound that roams freely in the common areas. Being that I'm not keen on dogs, this was a bit of a surprise. I do have to say that he was perfectly well behaved and sleeping most of the time. Just be aware if you have dog allergies.

Having booked the day before, my wife and 20 year old daughter arrived to find two very large rooms. In fact, one of these rooms was a suite, absolutely perfect for a family of three. We passingly mentioned this. Ten minutes later we received a knock on the door with the suggestion that we all move into the one suite of rooms for a lower overall price. This was not due to over-booking nor great demand for rooms at the hotel, it was simply an act of generosity. This is exceptionally unusual behaviour and should be applauded loudly.

We had a lovely time in Tintagel, albeit too brief, and will be returning, and recommending this hotel to others.
