Third visit and again never fails to impress. So tried the specials - baked eggs and haggis for me - absolutely delicious. The haggis was perfect and i was assured it was very good haggis and I certainly belive it was. Baked eggs to prefection - as always the coffee is strong and hot and the staff are attentive and are clearly very proud of what they serve as can tell you in detail about any of their food, even to where it is sourced etc. I would highly recommend. I would have gone back the next day but they were closed (as they are closed on a Monday !)

The breakfast menu is sort of the classics: Full English, Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine, Eggs w Smoked Salmon, plus a variety of pastries, etc. Best option was the special - the Baked Eggs with Haggis (or Bacon/Sausage if you can't handle haggis' reputation, but you really should take a chance on this!). Presented in a super hot cast iron serving dish so the eggs are still a bit watery as it is presented but continue to cook to perfect soft/just done texture. Coffees are solid as well, and boys appreciated hot chocolates with a mountain of whipped cream. Best part was owner/cook/barista was excited about his work and our feedback and had a great chat with us through the little pass-through window a the back of the front of house. Highly recommend!

Had breakfast in Beth's this morning, utterly scrumptious!
The eggs were cooked to perfection, the local sausages were just perfect, vine ripened tomatoes - delicious, crisp bacon, just right & plentiful tea & toast.
The staff are really friendly - offered more tea & toast (& the size of the tea pot is far from stingy!)
Absolute gem of a place, I'm almost reluctant to recommend it, incase I can't get a table next time!
