Description: Set alongside the beautiful river dart in the estuary at Dartmouth, The Floating Bridge is the latest addition to the Quality Inns portfolio. When on your Devon holiday, be sure to visit this quaint old fashioned pub. Enjoy the warm atmosphere in the bar or restaurant, or why not sit by the river and watch the boats in the Marina or the Higher Ferry transporting the cars to Kingswear. Relax with a glass of wine or Pimm's, why not try the fresh crab salad!

Lovely light lunches- the whitebait and baked goats cheese with walnuts. Great roof garden wth stunning views and sunshine made for a good lunch. Pleased that dogs were only allowed in downstairs area.

Had a lovely lunch here - huge ploughman’s with excellent cheese and ham, simply grilled scallops, sweet and gorgeous
Sitting on the deck on a sunny warm day like today is fabulous.

For our fourth year in a row on the Saturday evening of the regatta (pre fireworks) a group of 6 sailing friends dined a “the Floaters”. A pity you cannot reserve but at 6.30 pm we were lucky to grab an inside table. Ordering at the food bar is a bit of a torment with a slow queue and warnings of a 60 minute delay. However there is wide choice of food at a good price - not just expensive burgers, fish and chips etc as in so many pubs. Choice of various steak options, fajitas, tuna/shrimp stir fry and so on. Such a good choic that choosing was difficult.
In he event food was delivered sizzling hot in 25 minutes and we were very pleased.
Highly recommended!

The tuna loin and fresh plaice were both good. But the highlight was the 16oz rump steak, cooked to perfection, very tender and extremely tasty. We ate on the rooftop terrace overlooking the River Dart.
