Sit outside watching the river go by and the ferries go back and forth. Busy area. The scones were good too. Sunshine a bonus. Great atmosphere

what a nice place to spend time, try and get a window seat to watch the world go by in this busy harbour town.
Even though they were busy ,the service is excellent and my food, though a basic choice, was very tasty and came quickly to my table.A very good experience.

We are staying in Brixham but came to Dartmouth for the day.
Needed just a little something to eat.
Wife chose chicken burger and chips and I had a cheddar ploughmans with also a coke and a vimto to drink.
Food came quick and was lovely.
Chips were hot and chicken burger was lush.
My ploughmans came with an amazingly good portion of cheese!!!
A lovely half of a small cottage loaf and lovely salad and pickles.
Stafff exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Thank you would certainly return !!!

Looked good on the outside. Looked quirky and interesting on the inside. Had high expectations for a busy restaurant in a prime location right by the estuary wit loverly views. The experience though was just average. Ordered drinks and slices of cake. The drinks, including a latte, were warm and the slices of cake, of varying sizes, were dry and hard work. OK, so we only had drinks and cake and cannot comment on the hot menu but surely its not too difficult to get a latte hot with a milk thermometer and serve fresh cakes? The word complacency springs to mind here. The footfall is such that you could be mistaken for thinking that if you were disappointed and didn't go back, you wouldn't be missed. Oh, and please don't let me hear the excuse that "We were extremely busy."! Overall, a disappointing and average experience.

Great trip on the steam train then ferry back to Dartmouth, off the boat and hungry for a snack
Stopped here for a sandwich and got drink
Both asked for cheese and onion sandwich, one on white, toasted, one brown not toasted, this caused some confusion but after repeating we thought we had cracked it
Sandwiches arrived quite quickly but alas no onion in either, the brown one was so tiny, almost on bite, for £4.50 that's a bit steep, and 70p to toast the white one!
Eat, paid, questioned the missing onion but apparently was not ordered? Will not be going back, shame as has a great sea view
