No problems at all with my visit. Nice friendly receptionist, easy check in with food available on site. Would definitely return. Easy to find just off the M5 at Exeter services and only a short drive into Exeter city centre.

Cheap and comfortable base to stay ideal to see friends and family. On the outskirts of the City and in a good posiyion for Sidmouth, Exmouth and down the other side of the river such as Starcross and Dawlish. At the end of stay right on the M5 for going north.

Room tip: Needs triple glazing as it gets a lot of motorway traffic noise otherwise clean and warm.

Stayed here for two nights whilst doing a whirlwind 'UK tour' for work. Room was spotless, and despite being close to the M5, was very quiet. Everything worked - kettle, TV, heater control, and it was great to have a bar/grill on site for breakfasts/dinners as necessary.

The room was clean and tidy staff were informative and helpful. There isn’t a travelodge dining area. But there is a bar and grill connected to the hotel and as a travelodge customer you get 20% off food and soft drinks. The pub has a decent menu and the prices are very competitive without your discount. i would recommend the mixed grill and fish & chips and pasta and meatballs, i also asked for a side of chips and onion rings and was delightfully surprised by the quantity of both items . The staff in the pub were also very friendly and give a good service.
