Went to Yum Sing for dinner. It was a windy rainy day and as the entrance was via some steps it made it a bit hard to walk down the stairs as stepping on wet leaves was slippery.
Anyway the restaurant it self is very nice. The decoration is lovely. The staff was friendly and made sure we had drinks and kept checking if the food was okay. We decided to have the special banquet dinner instead of the all you can eat buffet as it was our first time at Yum Sing. Some of the food was nice but some was not to our taste.
I would recommend the King Prawn toast and crispy seaweed, crispy aromatic duck with wheaten pancakes, beef with fresh garlic onions and black bean sauce.
The food was a proper banquet we could not eat it all it was a shame we could not take it away as the waiter offered because we were staying in a nearby hotel. Overall a lovely experience, will definitely visit next time we are in Torquay.
