This is a wonderful family run hotel, rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated, breakfast is also very good with much to choose from. You will not go wrong staying here for it's location along with the knowledge that the owners know how to run a hotel with a very nice balance of friendliness without being intrusive.

We recently spent five nights at the Meadfoot Bay Hotel and were so impressed. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. The room was lovely, the breakfast amazing, and the location of the hotel, in a residential area just up from the harbour, meant it was very quiet. We hope to return one day. Thank you Chris, Gary and Caroline.

From the moment we arrived for our long weekend break at the Meadfoot Bay we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. This is a family run hotel and it is evident that Chris and his family care about what they do. The communal areas of the hotel are decorated in keeping with the age of the property however, the bedrooms have been recently refurbed and are light airy modern rooms with all the amenities you could desire. The beds are so incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms are large and luxurious. The real USP this place has to offer is the quality of the breakfast they offer. I literally have never seen such an array of buffet offerings. There appears to be no food type they do not include! Whilst munching on the cereals, fruit, smoothies. Chris takes the cooked order and his wife and son work their magic. The cooked food on offer includes full English with quality bacon and proper butchers sausages, eggs benedict, eggs Florentine and eggs Royal. All of the food was delicious and much appreciated. Chris and his family have the ability to make you feel incredibly comfortable in their property and I for certain would love to return one day very soon.

We've stayed here twice before it's an amazing place very warm and welcoming so we thought we'd have our honeymoon here we had there top room the signature suite it's was beautiful.
Chris, Caroline and Gary couldn't do enough for us, there were rose petals on the bed, the suite was spotlessly clean as always.
The breakfast is very filling and Chris is a amazing waiter making sure we had enough teas and coffees and we had enough food.
On the morning of our 1st breakfast we were presented with a heart shaped dish with yogurt in on a plate with heart shaped biscuits which we thought a brilliant touch.
We will be returning next June 2017 and we'd recommend this place to friends and family in a heart beat it's the best place to stay in Torquay.

Host very welcoming. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Choice at breakfast buffet was very extensive and the cooked breakfast was very well presented. Even though the hotel must have been close to being full the service was excellent. Great location for anyone who wishes to stay in the Meadfoot area of Torquay.
