I love this beach. It’s not too crowded. There’s free parking. The scenery is lovely. That cafe is the only downside. The coffee is dishwater.

Nice to walk down to this beach from the hotel before breakfast. It has a recommended beach cafe offering special food nights

Meadfoot Beach has always been a favourite of mine. I lived for many years in a flat over looking the beach, in those days it was possible to park quite close especially with a Blue Badge. Whilst back in Torquay for a visit last week, I tried to park with great difficulty as I am disabled and cannot walk very far. The two places for disabled are too far to walk to the cafe. Which is very sad.
