We stayed here for the 2nd time and was not disappointed again. We booked in advance but strangley could only book 2 nights over a weekend which suited us as we had a longer break. We were told at check in we could have phone just for the one night. I also left it late to ask for a sea view. I called on the day and was told as we knew they couldn't guarantee it. Anyway we were lucky and got one. Not a balcony unfortunately but still a great view.
The room again is very dated but did have an updated bathroom. See pics
If we didn't get a sea view I wouldn't have been giving a great review as the rooms on the back have awful views. See pics.
Your paying here really for the location. It's fantastic. Everything is here and close.
As all reviews state, parking is payable and when it's busy it's an issue. We've not used the multi story on the back. There's a public one just behind up the hill for 4.50 over night if your lucky enough to get a space.
We didn't have breakfast here this time, but did use the bar. Slightly annoying that only one open at a time due to lack of numbers I guess. Not a big problem though
No problem with any check in . Staff all friendly and helpful.
Lots to do nearby.
The sea view made it for us though

Dear suzib1953

Thank you so much for taking the time to send in a review of our hotel, I am so please to hear that you had a wonderful stay with us and were able to enjoy one of our sea view rooms. Our location is something we really take pride in, with so much to do in Bournemouth it really is a fantastic town to see and explore!

Thank you for your recommendation and I am thrilled that you will be thinking of returning and it would be our pleasure to welcome you through our doors very soon! Next time please ring ahead and put in a request for a sea view room. And whilst I must stress we cannot guarantee these requests we will always try our utmost best.

Best regards,
Sharney Emery

Great location, large family rooms overlooking the beach. Had the bonus of seeing the Friday night firework display which was a treat. The parking is connected to the hotel so very easy access, albeit you have to drive round to behind the hotel it's fine once you are in, you also receive £5 off the daily parking rate which is good. We had 2 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room in the bedroom for us and all our many bags!

Good: not too far from some regional tourist attractions. Air-conditioned rooms.
Bad: Reception has no clue what customer experience means and very stubborn to admit their mistakes. I can clearly see a chaotic management style with little if any staff communication. One example: I paid breakfast in full in advance and found my families harassed at the breakfast table 3 times for payment! They eventually admitted it's their issue but their attitude is horrific. It's simply my worst premier inn experience as far as reception and manager is concerned (yes I have visited quite a few sites up and down the country).
On site parking is very limited. I saw four cars stuck in front of the building at one time trying to get through the barrier. They had to reverse back to a busy road to park on road. Not a big issue if you have a small car. Good luck!!

Perfect location. Friendly staff. Lovely big, clean rooms.
The only downside I found was the mattress was too soft.
There is parking available but we decided to park opposite in the public car park which works out quite expensive at £18.10 for 24 hours

We have stayed here twice now and would definitely stay here again! The first time we had a lovely, big family room on the top floor. Perfect for 2 adults and 2 children :) facing the sea and the second time a lovely family room near the top also facing the sea as we only had our 4 year old with us that time. Staff were very lovely :) on checking in they gave my 4 year old a card and box of chocolates as it was her birthday :) lovely gesture :) The breakfast is good value for money and we enjoyed it. On our first visit we had a meal in the restaurant and it was nice although my eldest daughter is picky with her how her fish is cooked (she had fish and chips) but my boyfriend mentioned she didn't like it and she was offered something else or for it to be taken off the bill. She didn't want anything else. That was just a personal preference. The location is spot on! Beach, shops, gardens all within a 5 minute walk. We will definitely be back! :)

First time we have stayed in Premier Inn Hotel and we were no disappointed with overall experience. I usually stay in Hilton hotels for business and family break in U.K. Because we were unable to book Hilton in bournmouth we decided to try Primier Inn Bournmouth central. This hotel is perfect location, everything are so close.
I used the central car park which is located on upper Hinton road only 5 minutes walk (located rear of the hotel, up the stairs to Upper Hinton road)- for 24 hour parking it's £4.60, you can pay by coins or book the parking using PayByPhone app
Description: CENTRAL CAR PARK / UPPER HINTON ROAD Location.

Hotel experience: We had no issues, staff were very friendly, room was clean and maintained every day. We stayed in a family room located on second floor (room 204) which configured with one double bed and two single beds for the kids. Family room also had a balcony with good view. For safety reasons you have to sign a T&C during check in for balcony and you have to ask for the keys for the balcony door.

We tried the breakfast (full breakfast for £8.49 each) kids eat free. Breakfast was good with good choice. I would recommend going for breakfast early before 9:00am as it gets busy and have q up.

We thoroughly stayed 4 nights at Premier Inn central and would recommend to any family with children. We will definitely stay at Premier Inn on our next visit to Bournmouth.

Thank you Premier Inn Bournmouth.
