My wife and I were invited by friends to come to Bournemouth for the opening party of Thanet House's new venture The Living Room, so we booked in as well, the room was very comfortable on suite, actually my wife said this is one of the comfiest beds I have slept in away from home. I love the new Living room lounge, its old fashioned style, and original radio gramme. I had to leave after the party so did not get to taste the promise morning brunch in the new lounge. Oh dear I will have to go back again and stay again just to try it. This is not a main high street location but very near the sea. It does have a quite street feel to it

Room Tip: Well we had room 2 I was told its not the biggest but one of the quietest hope that helps.

Hotel was lovely. It's close to both Westborne and the sea front - about 10-15min stroll along the promenade to get to central Bournemouth. Hotel is very homely and you feel welcome from the moment you step in. Good breakfast in the morning too which always helps!

we booked 2 rooms one of which was lovely and recently refurbished, however our room was rather dated and the shower was not very warm. Breakfast was good and it is a great location for getting to the beach.

Room Tip: Don't book No.1. Its a bit dated

It was a lovely, peaceful place to stay! Not far from any attractions, they were very helpful in suggesting where to eat, go and things to do. Breakfast was absolutely lovely, bedroom was lush! And all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Couldn't fault the place, would definitely stay here again!!!

Another great family weekend away. This time eleven family members spent a wonderful weekend here. As always it was a great experience. This really is 'home from home' and Andy and Anna are great hosts. Nothing too much trouble. Accommodation is first rate and the breakfasts have to be experienced to be believed. Location is fantastic with the beach only a short walk away. Westbourne shops just a short walk away with fantastic restaurants. All in all a great place to stay and we cant wait for our next visit.
