Booking is definitely advised as the restaurant is quite small. They've packed in as many tables as they could so it's a bit 'cosy' but not a problem. They have the usual favourites on the menu and I must say they are very generous on the portion size of the dishes. Service was very efficient despite the restaurant being full. Note that they don't sell alcoholic drinks but are happy to supply a bottle opener and glasses so that you can bring your own.

Second visit to Forrest Spice for my Grandmas birthday. Aside from the excellent food, service and atmosphere as usual they put balloons on the table and bought out a cake and candles which we hadn't ordered or bought but was a lovely treat after dinner. Thanks, will be back

Thought it was buffet night but got given a menu. So asked and turns out on Monday or Tuesday they do a think they said gourmet meal. Basically you get poppadoms, a starter or chicken tikka, an onion Baha'i and a samosa, then I choose a main and can either have plain or pilau rice or a plain nan, plus a side, for £11.
I opted for a peshwari naan so was 50p extra. V good value. Friendly staff, large portions, tasty food. Chicken was a little chewy, but for the price no complaints, and you can take your own alcohol!! Think they need to advertise this more and give out a printed menu when you arrive!!

Had a very tasty meal here. Portions were generous and my off menu requests were accommodated without any fuss. The food was delivered swiftly all the meats were tender and the whole dish seemed fresh. The service was good and attentive with good prices. Well worth a visit.
