This place is such a great find. We happened across it on a visit to Dorset county museum to see Dippy (there until May 2018) just round the corner. It is a play cafe with a fenced off play area for babies and a general play area for older kids. Mine are 5 and loved it. Plenty for them to do from dressing up to play kitchens to giant connect 4 and even a slide down the stairs. But forgetting all that the coffee and food are really great. So many play places just don't bother with that but Munchkins used loads of local ingredients. My husband had gammon and piccalilly sandwich and I had ham, cheddar and onion marmalade toastie and we got 2 lunch boxes for them - Apple, 1/2 sandwich, pom bears, juice carton and giant cookie. Whole lot was £22 including the fee for them playing which was £1 each and included free squash. Service was a little slow but it was school holidays and really busy. I'd highly recommend it. Thanks for reading and drop me a helpful vote if you think it was.
