What a treat!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 4 weeks agovia mobile
Comfortable, quirky, friendly, great breakfast, excellent service and value. Rooms are equipped with everything you could possibly need and are quiet, very clean and each one is different, with fun artwork. Convenient location for Brighton and Hove. The young and very competent staff know the area very well and share great tips on restaurants and nightlife.

We really enjoyed everything about our two day stay, bookending a trip to Glyndebourne opera. Friendly, homely, great breakfast, room was quirky but very comfortable and stocked with everything we wanted. Sea front and shopping and the Lanes within a brief stroll.

Room tip: Just go.

Our weekend stay got off to a great start with a room upgrade (30th wedding anniversary celebration) a lovely touch. Add to that
welcoming and friendly staff who all went out of their way to help us and it made for a perfect break. The hotel has a cool, laidback, artsy feel, with original art work dotted about and little homely touches too - plants, magazines and Bramley products in the bathrooms (which smell divine). Its location couldn’t be better, with the i360 right in front and easy walking distance from the beach, pavilion and a gentle stroll to the Laines area. We had breakfast one morning, a great choice and delicious too and enjoyed a cocktail in the bar in the evenings. We will definitely be back…

Room tip: The hotel doesn’t have its own car park but we parked a 2 minute walk away in the Regency Mews car park (very helpful guy).

Very unique. Room quite quirky and definitely small, but well thought out. The room we booked didn’t seem to be the one we received so that was a bit of a surprise and meant we were rather cramped. However we were only there one night so it was ok.

Unique and beautiful place in a perfect Brighton location.
Friendly staff, they made me feel right at home.
Clean and very well equipped room.
Cozy lounge and bar/breakfast room with ocean view.
Everywhere in the hotel there is beautiful and cool art from local artists.
Unlike most old houses like this in the UK, this place even has an elevator.
Elevator is very slow but I loved it, because it is clearly very old and still working.
All in all, I loved the hotel and will be back.

This is my second stay at this boho, sea facing hotel.
The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the position is excellent for both the sea front and the city behind.
Rooms are all different, shabby chic and very inviting.
On this second stay, I had an apartment which was perfect with a small kitchen and lounge, sea facing.
The bedroom was at the rear making it very quiet. Perfect.
