Prettier than the doughnut but more obvious, so the same rating. You will see it as you amble about and that is about right.

The Peace Statue depicts an angel of peace holding an orb and an olive branch. It is a memorial to Edward VII, the Peacemaker. Located along the Brighton and Hove's seafront, the statue is a focal point on the promenade.

Do not just walk by, stop and take in the meaning and beauty of this statue. There is a good coffee and ice cream bar close by, plenty of park benches to sit and watch the world go by.

This monument was erected after the reign of Edward VII and I may be mistaken but I don't think it was erected initially for peace (I might be wrong!)

That said it is a short walk from the British Airways 360 attraction and has a nice statue.

Gorgeous statue and a great little cafe right next to it .. I have always thought this to be the very best statue in Brighton almost like Brightons statue of Liberty
