SEA VIEW ROOM

We paid extra for a Seaview Room, they are not cheap at £200 + per night. The room is large but that is all really what it had going for it.

BATHROOM

The Bathroom was poor, cracked, stained sink, the shower was over a bath but it had very little pressure making a shower almost impossible.

BED

This was very comfortable

FRIDGE

There was one in the room and this was effective

CHANGE OF ROOM/CUSTOMER CARE

To be fair, when we complained the next morning about the standard of our room and the faults, we were located to another room that had been upgraded. Customer care was very good and due to this our weekend ended better than it started out ….

THIS ROOM

This was in the Tower – the room was huge and the views were amazing.

BATHROOM

There is a separate shower and Jacuzzi bath and Jack and Gill sinks. However, there was a fault with the shower!!! The bracket on the wall was very loose and the slider kept coming down!!

BREAKFAST

This is not very nice at all. The only eggs you get are scrambled, they are like bricks. The bacon was over cooked, as were the sausages and hash brown, the baked beans were full of juice.

The cook by the masses and so they are for ever topping up (even when it does not need it) so what they do is put the hot fresh food on the bottom and top up with the older food, so this results in it being cold.

I drink black coffee but this was undrinkable.

Room Tip: Sea View rooms but they are very expensive

I have stayed at the queens hotel quite a few times now. But this was my first trip there just myself and daughter. We had a twin sea view room, it was much bigger than expected and very comfortable for our 2 night trip. Also very reasonably priced. We used the pool and ate in the restaurant which i highly recommend as the food was amazing. We also had treatments in the pretty people salon which was lovely... staff were very friendly and made it relaxing and enjoyable for myself and daughter. Altogether a lovely break away and we will definitely be returning!

Staff excellent. Food good. Pool small and slippy. Gym floor wet from Pool.
Room was very good until the evening. Outside the single glazed windows there was a club and a thoroughfare to the bars and restaurants. Very noisy and possibly drunk people shouting until 5 in the morning. Needed to buy earplugs to sleep.
Shower pipe leaked.
Price over Easter was £160 per night with breakfast.

Thank you for posting your review on TripAdvisor following your recent visit.
We can at times experience some noise intrusion from passers by due to our central location , but I would suggest considering a sea facing room on one of our higher floors if returning in the future.
Im really happy to see how much of an impression the staff made on you during your stay , and that you enjoyed your room also over your Easter weekend trip to Brighton.
