“Convenient location and good value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2012

We wanted to stay in the centre of Brighton as we had tickets to see Il Divo at the Brighton Centre. Although the entrance to the Premier Inn is tucked between the 99p store and Poundland this is deceiving because as soon as you walk inside, it is clearly a very spacious and comfortable hotel. The central position is great for exploring Brighton. Our room was on the 6th floor at the rear of the building and our fears about street noise were unfounded. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel proved perfectly adequate for our needs. The only downside was the cost of parking in central Brighton. Even with a 25% discount offered by the hotel, the nearby NCP carpark's charge of £25 for twenty-four hour parking is extortionate.

We had a fantastic room, really comfortable and plenty of room for two adults and two children. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and all at a really reasonable price, we couldn't ask for more.

Perfect location in the centre of Brighton. Very welcoming, friendly staff and clean, spacious and fresh accommodation.
Although we were on the main road we certainly couldn't hear any noise.
Our only criticism was that the room was very hot and parking proved very expensive for just over a day, even with the hotel discount-£26!!!
We will certainly use this Premier Inn again.

Room Tip: If you're choosing a family room, check on the children's bed.Although it was very well pres...

Thanks for your honest review!

Your feedback regarding the childs bed and room temperature have logged for resolution where required. Regarding the parking, which admittedly is well above the UK average, it is worth considering that further to the flat rate of £25 for 24 hours, it is then circa £5 per hour up to four hours beyond this. If you stay with us again, please contact the reception team for advice on other parking options within the city.

Very helpfull reception staff, we arrived early and they stored our bags with no fuss. Breakfast was good value and it set us up for the day. We arrived in Brighton by train, but there is a car park beside the hotel, which is discounted when staying in the hotel. Our room as always was clean and very comfortable. Highly recomended, making a stay in Brighton afforadable.

We pride ourselves on being as helpful as possible for all our guests. We are lucky to be able to offer luggage storage facilities free of charge to our guests so they don't have to haul their luggage around the lanes!

We stayed here with our four children and had two family rooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and a real bargain. The location is superb as you are right in the heart of Brighton and ideally situated for the lanes and a short walk to the pier. The entrance was not very appealing as its situated between the 99p store and a Subway, don't let that fool you as inside it's a real gem.
The breakfast was an all you can eat buffet which was under twenty pounds for six of us. The quality and selection on offer was fab, there was something for everyone. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the premier inn was, we have stayed in many hotels of various star ratings and this has to be one of the best.

Thank you very much for such a kind review!

We pride ourselves on being really family friendly and I'm happy we were perfect for your stay.
Two kids eat free per Premier Breakfast purchased so it's always a good start to the day - mine too sometimes! Thank you for recommending us to other travellers.

Read mixed reviews of this hotel before we left and photo is not that impressive, however it greatly exceeded expectations. Family of 4. Travelled by train and was emailed comprehensive directions from station beforehand. Easy 10 minute walk. Fab central location making it easy to pop back throughout the day rather than having to pack up for a whole days expedition. Easy walking distance to The Lanes, Pavilion, Pier, Volks Railway etc.
Were allocated a large airy room which offered plenty of room for 4, usual high standard of cleanliness we have come to expect from Premier Inn. Obviously being city centre location there is some noise but we were surprised how little corridor noise there was. We were at rear of hotel so obviously there was some bin, forklift noise in the mornings but it was not a problem.
The highlight of this hotel is the staff, especially Manager Stefane who is friendly and welcoming and does his upmost to ensure a great stay. Ben who checked us in was also very efficient and helpful. All staff were friendly and always had a smile and a hello, this includes the chefs at breakfast time and housekeeping staff.
Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and have already!!

Room Tip: Would think there was pros and cons to both, at rear we had some housekeeping (bin) noise and I imag...

Im basing my score of 5 on what I expected for £50..

Right in the centre of Brighton, 6 floors, standard Premier room layout, everything you need, simply presented

Check in was quick and friendly, our family in another room asked for more pillows... They arrived quickly, and it's quiet, but suspect noisy neighbours would be easily heard.

Overall good simple hotel that does what it says it will
Recommended for a low cost stay
