“Generous and rerfreshing lunches”

A very good bet . I used to go to the restaurant in Hove . Now they've moved but the quality is still high and it's light and just right for lunch and at a very fair price

“Fantastic wedding day!”
Reviewed 29 April 2012 via mobile

Having amazing memories from a trip to Kerala a few years back, my new husband and I decided to bring some southern Indian spice into our wedding reception. We cannot thank the staff at Indian Summer enough for making our wedding day such a memorable experience. We had exclusive use of the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and were treated to a southern indian feast throughout the afternoon. The food throughout was fabulous, plentiful and served by friendly and very attentive staff. The Keralan fish stew in particular was superb and the mango creme brulee was divine. To top it off, the head chef (who took on the task of creating my wedding cake) served up a chocolate lovers dream covered with gold strawberries. I mean seriously.... great curry AND great dessert? That's something you rarely find in Indian restaurants. But then Indian Summer offers something very different from your usual Indian fare and it's not to be missed!

“Keeps on being good”
Reviewed 23 April 2012

We first went to Indian Summer about 10 years ago and it is still good. Had a great meal there on Saturday. The Bhel Puri starter is still on the menu and is still delicious, as was the rest of the meal. Reasonable prices too.
Recomended

“My wife and I call this place "our place", simply the best Indian in the UK”
Reviewed 21 April 2012 via mobile

Don't expect your typical Indian food!! But if you love Indian food then you need to experience this place! It'd simply amazing, and great to go as a romantic evening. The Staff (especially Tim) really know how to look after you and also know when to leave you alone! 5 stars from me.....
