On a Monday evening in November, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Service was attentive and efficient without being intrusive. The food was really delicious. We love seafood and so treated ourselves to some oysters to start, then a selection of the tasters, a main course each (the seafood linguine and the Dover sole) and even had room for dessert. We love our food and enjoyed every mouthful. Thank you!

Ate here on a Saturday with my wife. Shared a selection of starters including taramasalata, cockles, tempura tiger prawns, mussels and a selection of smoked fish. All were good but the the pot of cockles was a little small if I'm honest. We then both opted for the steamed panache of fish with saffron sauce (salmon, mussels,‏ tiger prawn, sea bass, plaice fillet, cod, bream) which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The saffron sauce was terrific. I finished with the chocolate delice while my wife went for the cheese board. Both of us were happy with our respective choices.

A delicious meal after a long day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu was interesting with lots of locally caught seafood.

We went here for lunch and ordered steaks. We ordered one rare and one blue, they were both massively overcooked and had to be sent back. The manager then approached our table with the steak having brought it back from the kitchen to inform us that we were wrong and the steaks were in fact cooked perfectly. We thought this was extremely unprofessional and rude and were not at all impressed. We re-asserted that we wanted new steaks that had been cooked less, they brought us two steaks that were again massively overcooked, as in a rare steak being lightly pink in the middle. By this point we just wanted to leave so we just paid and left. 50 pounds worse off and still hungry. Definitely won't be going back.

Lovely restaurant with attentive staff, pleasant atmosphere and very tasty food. Little pricey but quality - so one gets what one pays for really! Enjoyable surroundings.
