Lovely, quirky little cafe. We stumbled on it quite by accident. Coffee was good and in big mugs, Son had the lamb stew which was delicious. Generous portions and good selection of vegetarian and vegan food with a Persian flavour which is perfect as daughter is vegan. Prices are incredibly reasonable with most dishes around £5.50 mark. Will definitely be back

This cafe/restaurant/opticians (they like a bit of multi-tasking in St Leonards) is popular all year round with locals and has many regulars. Highlights for me are the coffee (hot, strong and copious) and the vegetarian lunch special, which is a showcase for expertly cooked Persian and Indian dishes. Best place on the front to sit in the sun, listen to the existential chat of the regulars and look at the sparkly sea. Very, very good value for money.

Moved to this wonderful place a year ago, saw the perfect Seafront view unobstructed to Beachy Head in front of Kassa Coffee. Beautiful, comfortable decor with a library, family sized tables, armchairs and sofas, floor to ceiling windows bring the vibrant sea and sun inside. Sonya and Parvez greet you warmly and give you time and help with the wonderful menu - anything for any tastes - from breakfast eggs, Persian chicken stew, paninis to die for - aubergine, spinach and cheese, coffee people talk about, mango and yogurt shake so good. Sonya is always working on her menu and has added a green mango salad and more to come. A meal and coffee under a Tenner? The prices are incredibly low and that is part of their philosophy. You feel here part of a warm welcoming family, always glad to see you. Service with broad smiles is impeccable. It's cozy and classy and you'll love it. Do go - you will return again and again and you'll tell everyone about Kassa, just like I do.

This is a Persian themed coffee shop which oddly appears to have an optician associated with it, no idea why. I dropped in for a morning coffee and a cake which was very pleasant but although I'd heard good things about the coffee I felt my cappuccino was competent but not outstanding. I guess the coffee shop market is so crowded these days it's hard to stand out. The lunchtime menu looked interesting, with a lot of Middle Eastern veggie and vegan options, so I plan to return next time I'm in the vicinity.

It's a relaxed and welcoming spot, friendly, with comfortable sofas and chairs, and a view of the sea through the front window.

This is a great place to eat that serves fresh Persian food which is so tasty and the staff very friendly

The prices are good and the place is comfortable with a variety of tables and chairs and ones which they have brought in recently to replace older ones

They take cash only but are looking at a card machine and now have
Wifi !! Perfect after customers asking for this

Unusual to have an optician within a restaurant but this is England !!

Recommended as never had a bad meal here and the coffee is very good

Enjoy
