I want to move in permanently! Felt at home from the minute I walked into Gull's View. Mesmerised by the ever changing sea. Bathed by the light in every room, and cocooned in a safe peaceful haven.
Great location, helpful caring owners Margaret and Steve and everything you could want for a holiday rental.

“All you could possibly need”
Reviewed May 13, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Gull's View. The flat is quiet, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a wonderful view of the sea, made even more spectacular by the fact that it was very windy on a couple of days while I was there. Everything you could possibly need is provided, plus lovely little extras like the welcome basket. It is perfectly situated to enable you to reach all places of interest in the area by public transport - there are bus stops close by and the train station is just a 5-10 minute walk away (although you might like to take the bus if you have a heavy case as the first part of the walk to the station is uphill!). In particular, I would recommend the wonderful shower, very comfortable bed and free wi-fi. I can't believe I've lived so long and never visited Hastings before - I loved the old town and the Jack-in-the-Green celebrations, but there are also all sorts of other interesting towns, gardens and historical sites to visit within easy striking distance. At the risk of making it unavailable when I next want to book, I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Liked best: The shower, comfortable bed and wi-fi. And, of course, the view.
Liked least: It would be nice if the little convenience store next door was better quality, but that's me being really picky and not in the control of the owners of Gull's View!

“Wonderful Sea View.......”
Reviewed April 18, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We enjoyed a lovely stay here over Easter Weekend, the reservation was quick and easy with immediate email responses from Margaret. We were met by Margaret and her husband who were very helpful and had kindly left us a lovely welcome hamper, thank you, we especially enjoyed the wine and Easter Eggs. The apartment is lovely, spotless, large with high ceilings and picture windows looking out to sea, in fact you think you are at sea. Great shower, comfy beds, wifi and a huge well kitted out kitchen. It's a good base for visiting the surrounding area, Rye, Camber Sands, Hastings Old Town has some amazing shops also Norman Road with its vintage and retro shops along with St Clements Restaurant is just around the corner, a visit to Webbes Rock a Nore is a must too. I wondered why there was a copy of a Banksy in one of the bedrooms, turn right along the seafront until you get to the Church and it's right there on the beach steps!!! We had a great stay thank you.

“Definitely recommended!”
Reviewed March 1, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We had a lovely three night stay at 'gulls veie' we were warmly welcomed by Margaret and Steve, they even left us milk, butter, fresh bread, local jam, flowers and more! The flat is very clean and is beautifully decorated! I would say the flat size is very generous (especially the kitchen and lounge) we really did enjoy our stay here, the location is great and it's a 'stones throw' away from the beach, even though we visited when it was cold and rainy we still had a great time, I couldn't recomend enough! I would love to return in the summer.

We stayed for a long weekend in January the weather was much warmer than anticipated and we managed to enjoy walks on th beach and the stunning view of the sunrise.

This accommodation has everything I could have wished for and more. The standard of finish was akin to a 5 star hotel and we had a wonderful time.

I would definitely recommend this stay to friends.

“Perfect pad”
Reviewed January 5, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Really enjoyed our all too brief stay at this apartment. The photos do not do it justice as it is beautifully done out with stylish touches all over. The kitchen was fully equipped and spacious, the living room light bright and comfortable and the beds perfect. The special touches of the welcome basket, filled with prosecco, butter, bread, chocolate etc and the spa bath and shower goodies in the bathroom just made this place even more memorable. We didn't see too much of Hastings as we were there for a wedding at Battle Abbey but after staying at Gull's View we are more likely to return just to stay there again.
