Sightseeing in Rye with no knowledge of the eating places there, we came across the Hope Anchor Hotel and spotted at the front entrance the menu for The Dandelion Restaurant "Moules Mariniere" , a favourite dish of mine so we ventured in. What a great decision! The mussels were perfectly cooked and served, the bread freshly baked and the main of roast beef delicious. We were served by the manager and complimented him on his service and the great restaurant he was running.
