Stopped here in our motorhome for a night and could not have been more welcomed by all the owners and staff. Food was of a very good standard and reasonable. It has a large beer garden out back . A very enjoyable experience.

We had a fabulous pub lunch here. My children ate from the kids menu; sausages and chips (sausages were lovely) and cod and chips, both with baked beans. My young children really enjoyed their food. My husband and I had fish and chips. Really fresh and hot! Great food!

Our waitress was lovely and very accommodating - bringing tomato ketchup and offering more drinks. I commented that she read my mind!

Toilets were clean.

Bonus: we could bring our doggy in - who was also given doggy biscuits :-).

All in all a great experience - thank you!

We recently spend the night here in our motorhome after we enjoyed a lovely meal in the pub. They have a great little hidden away carpark at the back which is free to use for motorhomes as long as you eat or drinking the pub. Only 15 minutes walk into the beautiful village of Bourton on the Water, which saves having to find parking for 7.5 metre van. The staff were fabulous and very friendly, thank you to Sarah for letting us stop over. We'll definitely return next time we are in the area.

Great service, Sarah was such a friendly and caring person, which makes a big difference to your stay.
The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed: comfy bed, hot shower, kettle and tea what more dkes one need?
We were able to park right outside our door which was really handy.
So close to the main village, took me minutes in the car, petrol station, shops and take aways near by in the village.
You could walk as there is a footpath, just be sensible and take a torch if you walk in the dark, as there is a small portion of the path that is not lit.
Food was lovely, we enjoyed breakfast in the mornings; one morning when we were late and missed breakfast, Sarah generously brought toast and fresh tea to our door!
Locals and tourists visit the pub but we didn't hear them from our room.
I liked the friendly and relaxed atmosphere and closeness to locations, I wish them all the best in the future and would use this place again on future visits.
Thank you so much for looking after us!

Room tip: Rooms on the ground floor willbe able to hear the upper floorwalking around, if you are a light sleeper this may bother you.
