“This house works really well for a mixed family group”
Reviewed June 16, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We spent a family weekend at Sunnybank Lodge and found it a perfect place to enjoy with a mixed age group. As grandparents we particularly appreciated the layout. We basked in luxury on the top floor, two floors away from parents and young children on the ground floor whose accomodation was also very comfortable. All the fittings and fixtures were of the highest quality, loads of room in the fridge and generally very spacious with lovely outdoor spaces for relaxing with good views over the lake. Unfortunately it rained for half our weekend but we all repaired to the swimming pools and spa. We loved the Miss Mouse treasure trail and were very impressed to find real treasure in the hidden boxes. I would definitely recommend this house to families wanting to holiday at the Lower Mill Estate

“Homely and hospitable for a family Christmas in a beautiful area.”
Reviewed December 29, 2014 for a stay in December 2014

A beautiful house with more than enough room for us (4 adults and a baby). The house is secure in an estate, relatively quiet but very friendly in the winter. The view out the back over the lake is stunning, west facing over the lake for bird-watching and sunset gazing. The kitchen and living areas are very well equipped and the bedrooms clean and comfortable. From the front door, nature trails, woodland walks and the Thames Path are all within easy walking distance. Our christmas celebrations were made more special by the generous welcome and bountiful decorations. An extraordinarily pleasant break.

“A lovely, well equipped holiday home in an idyllic setting”
Reviewed June 17, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Sunnybank Lodge proved a wonderful venue for an extended family get together. All of the rooms are elegant and comfortable and an outdoor living area near the kitchen provided a wonderful space for summer meals at all times of the day. This house is amazingly well equipped with everything from books, DVD's and games for children and adults to kitchen appliances and utensils. The setting on a lake is quite beautiful and wild life abounds. The various pools in the Lower Mill Estate provide entertainment for all ages and are well maintained. Walking, cycling and fishing are also popular activities. Nearby Cirencester has most of the major supermarkets who also deliver on-line orders as well as some fascinating independent small shops and history in abundance. All in all a great place for a holiday.

“Perfect location and accommodation for our family holiday.”
Reviewed November 8, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Accommodation was fantastic with everything you would need and more provided including access to spa facilities. Cannot think of anything we were missing.
It was like home from home with ability to have groceries delivered via all supermarkets that do online shopping. Two places we ate at close by I would recommend were the 'Potting Shed' superb place to go to without the kids that change their menu everyday. Bakers Arms that accommodated our family of 6 adults and 3 children really well too with really good pub grub.

“Beautiful home, location, views and plenty to do”
Reviewed August 24, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

A party of 8 (2 families) stayed at Sunnybank Lodge in late August 2013. The house is stunning, the estate is beautiful and the views fantastic. Plenty to do in and around the area, but the home is so relaxing you will want to stay there and simply de-stress! The children loved the tennis and the swimming pool and a couple of them even braved the outdoor Eco pool! Everywhere was very clean and tidy. Definitely coming back soon!

“What a gem of a house with a lovely feel. You really do feel at home”
Reviewed July 23, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We are a family of 4 that had one of our best holidays so far and that's because of Sunnybank Lodge. We've been to Lower Mills Estate before and love the fantastic pools, tennis courts, the many walks Lower Mills Estate has to offer and the super spa for chilling and pampering it really has something for all ages and now the icing on the cake Sunnybank Lodge. You are made welcome before your stay
as Stephen is lovely to deal with
so you know Sunnybank Lodge is going to be special and it was!!! Everything you need and more is here and the family really have thought about how to make guests feel welcome to their beautiful home. We LOVED our stay and are hoping to go back with friends as the house has plenty of space for at least 8 people with lots of area's if you need quiet space all with fantastic views. As we've been to Lower Mills before we were delighted that Sunnybank Lodge was part of the spider programme.
We really enjoyed staying at Sunnybank Lodge and are looking forward going back soon.
