Stayed for the evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary, booked with a package.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. We soon headed down to dinner and enjoyed a great 3 course meal.
Back to our room, that seems like such an understated word more of a suite, and headed for a chill out in the bath. A bath in the most amazing bathroom with a TV!
A lovely nights sleep, a wake up shower (a double sized walk in shower) then off to a full English breakfast. As our package includes an afternoon tea which we had missed on the day before, we were invited to have it later on the 2nd day. So after a walk around Tetbury we headed back to The Close for a lovely cream tea.
Highly recommended, amazing place and highly intend to come back. Thank you!

We've stayed here several times in the past and we just couldn't resist calling into this wonderful town centre hotel in Tetbury., for morning coffee! The character is just wonderful., the staff lovely and both the bar area and restaurant charming! The restaurant overlooks a terrific garden compete with lily pond....The Close is a must for us when ever we are in the area.

Had the most delightful two night stay in the gallery room which was perfect. From the minute we walked thru the door we were greeted by a very charming young Irish man,we were made feel welcome instantly and he even carried our bags!!!! What a gent!!An asset to any company.

The food was amazing and the breakfast was first class. All the staff were extremely attentive. I will be returning in the near future definitely!!
Will be recommending it to friends, thanks again the close.

When you have been to a hotel before and had a good experience and you book again, you hope it will live up to your previous visit. We needn't have worried, our recent return to The Close lived up to past visits and was very enjoyable indeed.

We booked our evening meals in the Garden Restaurant both evenings, where the menu had changed slightly from our previous visits but the food was still excellent.
Our room was lovely too, really comfortable with views over the garden and the setting winter sun. But a stand out asset to this hotel are it's staff.

Some staff have changed from our last visit but everyone we met from reception, bar, restaurant and housekeeping were polite and friendly with nothing too much trouble. I am sure the staff behind the scenes are equally as good.

If your thinking of somewhere to stay when you want to visit the Cotswolds, I can recommend you try staying here. They do make you feel very welcome.

Room tip: Garden rooms are best for view
