Went to Cafe 53 for an early lunch. It's below an assortment of shops, compact and understated. Nice chilled ambience and non modern interior - all plus points in my opinion. We went in at midday and had excellent hot chocolates, Roma panini and tomato and basil soup while our little one had spag Bol which she loved. Small seating area at the back which would be nice on a sunny day. Staff friendly and efficient. Not the most comprehensive of choices available but likely you'd find something to take your fancy especially with additional choices on their "specials board".

We came across Cafe 53 by accident as parked opposite (1 hour limited parking) on Long Street and wandered into shop at front. Nice decor, with courtyard seating as well. We only had a cuppa, but cakes looked good!

Brilliantly interesting place to stop for a bite, enjoyed the garden especially as very different from some of the twee places I normally visit. Loved it and the staff were very friendly too.

We always look for non "chain" cafes when we visit places as they are always a bit different. This one has a lovely small terraced garden out the back and, although we did not eat there, the menu looked varied and interesting and I will certainly pop in for a meal if I come back to the area. Certainly worth a visit if you are in Tetbury on a sunny day.

A nice change from all the very heavy meals we've been having. Not exactly the lightest but had the 53 Steakburger and it was very good. Two large strips of bacon, cheese and skinny fries (think McDonalds). Others in our party had a wonderful Chicken Mayo sandwich and a brie panini. Everything was very fresh and the waitress was nice.
