“Beautifull cottage and setting.”
Reviewed 11 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We had a lovely stay in this cosy cottage, It has lots of character and felt like home!
The setting is amazing, backing onto the most beautiful commonland where we had a wonderful walk - and we loved meeting on the farm animals roaming around the lane.
Would go again.

“Perfect”
Reviewed 19 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

What a lovely cottage, stayed for three nights in May. Clean and well appointed, perfect location for walking (straight out of the back door) and all the local attractions, bike hire literally right around the corner. Very reasonably priced, we will definitely return.

“Outstanding”
Reviewed 18 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

I cannot recommend this cottage enough. Other than to echo what has already said. It feels like a magical place, and we were blessed with frosty weather which meant we simply HAD to snuggle up in front of the wood-burner.

It was beautifully decorated, everything that you could need was there, the children loved the play room (note to parents: Don't bring toys, plenty to discover here)

We will undoubtedly be back as this holds such beautiful warm memories for us.

Thank you Jo for everything,

Beckie and family

“Relaxing family holiday”

We spent half term at Newtown Cottage and it was absolutely delightful. The cottage is cosy, but there is enough space so you aren't falling over each other. All the rooms are tastefully decorated and it has all the amenities you would expect in a home. We all had a fab time there, including the guinea pigs. It is right on the edge of the Forest, so handy for relaxing walks. Some good local pubs in easy walking distance. All in all a gem of a cottage. Would have no qualms in recommending.

“Beautiful house in stunning location!”
Reviewed 11 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Situated in a quiet lane, this lovely house has a beautiful garden, just go through the garden gate & you're in the New Forest! With ponies, donkeys & cows wandering past the house it is quite unique.
The house itself is spotless & well equipped. Large light dining area with lovely big table. Only problem with kitchen is literally no where to store food as top cupboard has meters in it. There is a cupboard opposite fridge freezer but we ended up leaving our groceries on kitchen work top. The living room is comfortable with 2 sofas & 2 arm chairs. Large TV has basic Sky, we could only receive about 10 channels. There is Wi-Fi, the phone signal is poor but then you are in the middle of the forest. The bedrooms are well furnished & the beds very comfortable. Bedding is lovely. There is 1 small ensuite with shower. The bathroom has a bath but only hand held shower, amazing water pressure!!
We didn't use playroom over the garage but it's a lovely space with plenty of toys & games.
Close to Ringwood & Fordingbridge & only 20 minutes from Bournemouth there are a huge amount of activities to choose from each day.
A really lovely holiday home!
