Arrived late after a 4 hour journey in the hottest day of the year . Met by Sonny a bright helpful young man . Checked in, he expained everything to us. The room was bright clean and very comfortable . I was worried about the noise level as it was city center . But I didnt need to had a brilliant nights sleep , the bed and pillows were very comfy .
Breakfast was good but the amount of food on the hot plate needed refreshing more often . Resturant staff helpful and friendly . Highlight "Sonny " brilliant member of staff asset to the priemier inn group . Car Parking few minutes away . You can drop off around the back of the hotel by the station .

Room Tip: Park in Ismabard Brunnel Multistorey carpark . Hotel will validate your ticket costs £4.50 for 24 hour period

clean and good sized room for disabled occupation. A couple of minor problems dealt with promptly. Friendly and helpful staff. Meals good but a bit on the high side, so we ate in local pub except for breakfast. Right opposite railway station so easy access' Near park and aviary!

Great location - no car park. They advertise it is a 3 minute walk - it is much further than that. There is nowhere to drop off guests and cases so elderly guests should avoid this hotel. Rooms are small, wardrobe tiny, drawers at floor level - not good if elderly or you have a bad back. I booked one double and one twin room which were confirmed at online checkin. On arrival we had two triple rooms so instaed of having two decent single beds we had one put u up small single. Rooms are not soundproof. You can hear people talking next door and their hairdryer going in the mornings. Bath does not have ridged bottom and is VERY slipperly. I fell over just climbing in and bruised my leg badly. Put a towel in the bath before you get in.

The restaurant is tiny and located by reception. The atmospheer is awful so I would avoid it. Breakfast at £9.99 or similar is very expensive Recommed the Wetherspoon pub across the road in Guildhall Square. The "lounge" is two settees and a table crammed into one corner of the restaurant behind reception. It was full of drunken girls at the time I went to see and certainly I wouldn't eat near that raucous din. No radio in rooms and only 2 sachets of coffee. How mean. WiFi easy to use but expensive to upgrade so wouldn't bother. All in all the IBIS is much nicer and onl a couple of minutes away so if you are going for graduations at Guidhall go for the IBIS instead. Possibly OK if you are a pack of drunken kids wanting a couple of nights on the town to get blind rolling drunk as it is very central but anyone else should avoid it.

Stayed here for 2 nights as a base for visiting local attractions. Comfortable beds, decent room, friendly staff. Car park is 3 mins walk away and £4:50 for 24hours (or each time you leave). The breakfast was nice. Tea was expensive at £40 for 3 of us and we didn't feel it was worth it.

I stayed for one night with my family prior to a graduation. Hotel is very central. It's clean. It's modern. Check in is effortless. And the staff are helpful. Breakfast good and very reasonably priced Spot on. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.
