We have visited this restaurant twice recently for their evening buffet.
At £13.99 per person from Monday to Thursday it really is very good value.
The buffet is brought to you at your table.
Poppadoms with 3 sauces and onion to start. Fresh and crispy.
Plentiful starters including chicken tikka, onion bhajis, samosas and spring rolls followed.
Main courses of various chicken, lamb, chick pea, potato and more came to the table accompanied by rice and delightful naan bread...... A banquet indeed and far more food than we could manage.
The service is attentive and polite. If any dishes are not to your liking or if you would like some more of a particular dish just let them know and they are happy to oblige.
Well recommended and would encourage anyone to try it.

We've had some great meals in the restaurant over the years and some great takeaways recently but the last one we had was substandard. All of the peppers and tomatoes in the chicken shashlik were burnt so most of them I didn't eat. An unusual drop in standards means it might be a while before we go back.

Went here during the Southampton Boat Show week. Haven't been here for a long time, years ago it used to be called POSH ( nautical themed ) and was well known for its all you can eat buffet.
The area has been re developed and is nearly all new residential flats now so I can see that some people would easily miss it.Just turn off the main road by the Coop and walk down the road to the first road on the left.
As previously the exterior is a bit unpromising, you walk in to a small ground floor area ( looks a bit bleak and dowdy ) and then up a long staircase to reach the restaurant.
Walls in the main foyer still have a lot of nautical stuff on them left over from the POSH days.
I had to go in a side room for my meal. The whole of the main restaurant had been taken over by a bridegrooms pre wedding celebration. Place was full of people in colourful Indian dress with a disco etc.
I took this to be a good sign as if those of Indian etc descent chose to go there then it must be OK.
Room I was in had just one couple in it but it was only just after 6.00 p.m.
Had a main of Chicken Lababdar, very tasty but mild. Side dish of Matter Paneer and a chapati.
All good, no complaints from me and good service from Dhana.
Had a large 660 ml bottle of Gurkha Beer at £4.50. About the normal price but for cheaper drinks there is a large Wetherspoon just up the road.
The place is very large and if I and one other couple had been in the main room then I think we would have felt a bit lost!
Tried out the toilets, OK but looking a bit worn now I would say.
When I left the Indian party was in full swing in the main room and the disco was belting out and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Good luck to the groom ( oh and his bride ) !

The food was delicious, we were all very happy with our meal. The place is a bit shabby but it was worth the risk.

Southampton's hidden jewel. We've been here 4 times now on trips to Southampton and the food is always amazing. Staff remember us, food is always very high quality, and the beer is very reasonably priced, great ambience and can't recommend highly enough. The greatest shame is we don't live near here otherwise this would be our weekly treat!
