We had a lovely Sunday lunch here during a recent weekend in Hereford. The restarant was almost full when we got there at 12:30 and there was a buzzing atmosphere without it being too noisy or busy.
The Sunday Lunch menu has several choices of different roasts and vegetarians are catered for. There is also an interesting range of drinks, both non alcoholic and boozy.
We had the lamb and the beef and it was one of the best Sunday lunches we have ever had. Both meats were very well prepared and flavoursome. However the aspect that set this apart from many other restaurants' offerings for us was the veg: both our roasts came with very generous side servings of perfectly cooked red cabbage, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds with greens and carrots topped with crunchy hazelnuts, and an amazing smoked cauliflower cheese. We were so full up after this that we didn't have time for pud, although they did look nice.
The service was friendly and efficient, and I feel that the meal was good value for money for the quality of ingredients and the detail in the presentation.
The restaurant itself is pretty small, so I would definitely recommend booking.
