We have visited this restaurant on several occasions over the past few years and have been impressed every time. The food is always served freshly cooked, hot and good portions. The staff are good and service nice where they look after you without being a nuisance. We had a trio of cockles, bread oil and olives for starters. Followed by hake served with leeks and clams, and Smoked haddock and potatoes with a very nice sauce, French fries and Brussel tops. All was very very nice. We couldn’t really mange a dessert all though the selection was very tempting. Would recommend this seafood restaurant, I think it is best to book as it is very popular. The tables are well spaced out so you don’t feel cramped a great atmosphere, a must try restaurant.

I have been to Chapman’s a few times now , and this visit was not a disappointment. Once again the food and services was great.

We decided to have the Fruit de Mer platter, and it was a good decision.

Good staff. Great food. Highly rrcommended

We have been here twice on her 4 night trip, so this means it was good :-) Good choice of fresh fish, good ambience, service great. Locals as well as tourist. It is also a good price and tasted good and felt healthy as well. So we truly recommend to have something else then pub food.
