Stayed for one night prior to a ferry crossing. Room was comfortable, clean and facilities good. Ate in the restaurant, food was good and price reasonable. This not a hotel you would stay at for the sake of the hotel but for location to cross channel terminal, it is perfect

Stayed here two nights with our 4 year old when visiting relatives and was very impressed. Hard to fault. Good location right on the promenade which was good for a walk or cycle and to watch the boats coming in. Family room overlooking the sea was simply but very well appointed, lots of storage room and a long desk / table against the wall (as opposed to the usual dinky desk) which was really useful. We were on the first floor and the baby monitor worked in the bar which was a bonus. Staff friendly and helpful without exception. Food good - breakfast on day one was first class and kids eat free if you opt for the full breakfast - great value. A big plus also was the ability to order a children's meal and take it up to the room. Nothing too much trouble it seemed Great experience marred only by a thoughtless family immediately above us who allowed their kids to thunder up and down at before 6 in the morning. Would recommend and will definitely use again

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front - they are v quiet and away from the main thoroughfare.

This was our first visit to a Premier Inn hotel. We stayed in Dover and the hotel was overlooking the sea, a beautiful view. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the bedroom was surprisingly good and there was a BATH in the bathroom, heaven for my Wife's bad back. Full marks to this hotel for comfort and cleanliness and for good value food. Have no hesitation in recommending it.

This hotel is very good for a short break or if you are crossing to France - or picking up a cruise ship. It was spotlessly clean and the friendly receptionist ensured that we were checked in quickly.

The hotel is very close to the town centre and you can walk there in minutes, it is also close to the swimming pool.

To the front of the hotel is the pebbled beach and the pier.

The rooms were clean and tidy and the very large bed was comfortable. There was a bath with an overhead shower.

If you are booking this hotel try to ensure that you have a sea view, otherwise you will overlooking a very busy road with traffic going to and from the docks.

We didn't eat in the hotel as there was plenty of other cheaper places to eat in Dover within walking distance.

Room Tip: Room to the front have sea view

always stay at this travel inn when using the dover route, big beds that are comfy to sleep in only problem was I had to take the shower gel out to use it as the despenser was full of gunk.
