My partner and I visited the restaurant just over a week ago on a mid week evening. I had recommended it to my partner on hearing good reviews and the restaurant is very local to where we live.
On first impressions I wanted to turn around and walk straight back out, the restaurant was dark and cold, we were seated at an un made table with fake flowers in a vase that had seen better days and dance music was being played on low over the speakers (not the best for an ambient bistro setting) the waiter was scruffy although very nice and had good customer service skills. The food when it came was lovely. The staff were all lovely and I can not fault them or the food, however the bistro needs some TLC (get rid of the fake flowers, play better music and make it lighter) Please don't take this as a criticism, The staff were really nice and food excellent, just an opinion on how it could be an amazing restaurant!
