What a strange place this is. I visited with my mum when we were on a walkabout in ramsgate. Although mum has lived there for years she had never been into the cafe before so this was a first for both of us. The decor is completely mad, wherever you look the walls are covered with all manner of artwork. We stayed for a sandwich and a cuppa and were very happy with the food we received. I would definitely come back and visit again the next time i'm in the area.

Was visiting for the weekend, was told by a local it was the best kept secret in Ramsgate ... how right they were! Loved it .... it’s quirky with a fab menu and a Sunday carvery that was to die for .... would do the 400 mike trip again just to go back here!

We visited our favourite cafe last weekend, on Saturday fpr mackerel salad and dover sole, which were of excellent quality and very low prices. We went back for breakfast on Suinday, to find that the cafe was closing later that day. This is big loss for Ramsgate, with fresh fish and seafood and the unique character of the establishment.
Hope it re-opens soon.

We stopped for coffee here knowing it was dog friendly after a wonderful walk from Dumpton Gap. Nice welcoming atmosphere & incredibly helpful staff who when my dog threw up the sea water she had consumed , handled it impeccably , cleaning up with with a smile & a shrug. Thank you so much . Coffee lovely too

Fantastic find on a cold windy night beside the twinkling lights on the boats in Ramsgate harbour. Warm and welcoming with its whacky decor. I had the starter portion of muscles, the main would be enough for 2! Best muscles ever. My partner had the wonderful goulash full of flavour and melted in the mouth. We were staying close by so went back for breakfast; New York hash and full English, I'd been ill and missed out all over Christmas but thank you Belgian Cafe you made up for it. Great value also, will definitely visit again when next in the area
