Had an early evening meal here with my wife and we both opted for seafood starters and mains-all very tasty and superbly cooked-I echo previous comments that the chef knows his seafood. One minor gripe-no finger bowl with mussels. Ambience and atmosphere appeals to the more mature diner but we couldn't understand why there were not more people dining as this place is such a refreshing change to the normal "chain" type establishments on the harbour side. Waiting staff very polite and attentive-will definately return.

We came for a girls dinner mid week.
The staff are fantastic couldnt be more helpful, the food was lovely calamari delicious the mains were small but very tasty .deserts devine.
I wrote a review a few years ago for this restaurant really unusual place fantastic views lovely atmosphere.
Only gripe and it annoyed be before too.
The cutlery is cheap and nasty cafe style..just lets the side down, if i am eating a really classy dinner i want decent knife and fork .
(Like drinking a good wine out a plastic beaker)
Thats the only reason i give 4 out of 5.
We had a lovely evening

Dog friendly and certainly worth the walk along the harbour wall on a nice day.

Great view back across the harbour to Ramsgate.

The food is only average at best though - been a few times - a nice evening meal with someone on the piano, and a couple of late breakfasts, spoilt by cold plates and luke-warm food.

Ramsgate may be a bit rundown have not been here for years but this was such a find.
Although it looks from the outside uninteresting take a walk or drive go in and you will be surprised.
Hate the word but shabby chic but with a an traditional feel of a restaurant on the sea front.
Service attentive and take time to talk to you, food 5* will definatley be back soon .
Would drive down even in bad weather just to eat here.
Great value for money !!!!!!!

What a great find. Lovely friendly and attentive service. Really good menu choices and the quality of all the food was superb. Fish in various forms had by all the party and all agreed it was delicious and beautifully prepared. A winning formula which need not be changed in any way. We eat out a lot and this was some of the best food we have eaten in a long time. Look forward to our next visit.
