Rented the apartment for a reunion weekend, it was well equipped spacious and clean, the biggest plus was that it was only 10 minutes walk from the city centre, we arrived by train and the station was only a 15 minute walk, It is also adjacent to the estuary and this affords pleasant walks along the seafront. We were pleasantly surprised how nice Hull was, the city centre and attractions are all within walking distance, we also sampled the "Ale trail" with many fantastic historic pubs serving "proper" beer!
The arrival time is 2pm but we were only travelling from Lincoln and I asked if we could leave the car early and Mike got back immediately to say the apartment would be available from 11. Very peaceful and very well equipped. About 10-15mins walk along the river side path from main attractions and restaurants in Hull. Perfect for a walk back after a good meal. Bed large and very comfy. Excellent TV and wi-fi. Comfy seating area and separate dining area with well equipped kitchen for basic meals such as breakfast and simple dinner/tea. No lift and 2 flights of stairs would be only criticism. I would highly recommend this place and would stay again.
The Apartment is very close to the Humber River, the Deep and near the Ferry Port and the town center in the former Victoria Docs. Direct behind the apartment at the north side there is the Victoria Park. When you arrive with P&O Ferries you need nearly 10 minutes with car to the apartment. We arrive at 8 a.m and although our official check-in time was at 2 p.m the owner, mike h. enabled us to check-in at 11 a.m. That was very kind, mike h. prepared us a friendly welcome. In the apartment is a large smart tv with the possibility to use Netflix even for free and there are some maps and interesting informations about Hull and events near by. Last but not least, you have free Wi-Fi. Summarized we had a pleasant stay.
